Easter Sunday, we did waterfalls and beers. Be jealous.

Wind surfing and kite surfing are the big sport on the Hood River. My big sport was sitting on my butt and soaking in some Vitamin D.
Multnomah Falls, Oregon. Arguably one of the tallest year-round waterfalls, I think. The trails were mostly closed, but I was a little drunk from lunch, so it was ok with me.
Ferns grow on trees in Portland. It’s weird and cool.
I am a dork.

We spent large parts of the car ride bonding with Owen over fart jokes and song choices. I won the song choices game with “Middle” by Maren Morris. Owen declared it a fun song. I also taught him how to do a Bob Dylan impression and he nailed it. I am proud.

Also taught the little dude Snapchat, because that’s how I do.

On Monday we did the Oregon Zoo. The animals were lots of fun, of course, but at zoos it seems like the most fun is always the people watching. Weird children, cute children, bad children, their parents… Fun was had by all.

My favorite was the hammy elephant who did tricks for apples and sweet potatoes.

I finished the day by dragging poor Tom to a brewery, where I drank 6 different beers and a negroni and he drank three sips of a beer he didn’t even really want. That’s how love works sometimes.
